Park Forest South Aviation Group

We operate a variety of FAA-certified sailplanes.

PFSAG operates a Cessna 150 single-engine airplane for towing sailplanes into the air. The airplane is equipped with a short takeoff and landing (STOL) kit for improved performance on shortened runways.

PFSAG operates two Schweizer 2-33A sailplanes which is a metal/Ceconite fabric two-place trainer sailplane. The 2-33A is a solid, proven sailplane used for primary flight instruction.

For those who are members of the Civil Air Patrol, two additional Schweizer 2-33A sailplanes are available.
